Tiers

Your tier is set by what you have spent on goods in the last 12 months, excluding postage and after any refunds. You move up the moment you qualify. You are never moved down part-way through a year: a tier lasts at least 12 months from the day you reached it.

Referrals

Every member gets a link. When someone joins on it and their first order of £25 or more clears its 14-day window, you both get 250 points. Up to ten friends a year. If two accounts share a delivery address, a payment card or a browser, neither side is credited — that is how we keep it a referral scheme rather than a discount for making a second account.

Seriously Rare Club terms — version 1.0

In force from 22 September 2026. These terms are part of our shop terms. Nothing here affects your legal rights.

  1. Joining. The Club is free and open to anyone with a Seriously Rare account and a confirmed email address. One account per person.
  2. Earning. You earn 1 point for each whole £1 of goods on an order, excluding postage and after any discount, multiplied by your tier rate. Points appear as pending and become available 14 days after the order, once the cancellation period has passed.
  3. What points are worth. 100 points are worth £1 against goods. Points have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for money, sold, or transferred to anyone else, and they are not property.
  4. Spending. The least you can spend in one go is 250 points, and points can pay for at most 50% of the goods on an order. An order can carry one discount: points or a promotional code, not both. Free-delivery thresholds are worked out on the value of the goods before points are applied.
  5. Refunds. If an order is refunded, the points it earned are taken back in proportion to the amount refunded — refund half an order and half of what it earned comes off. Points you spent on a refunded order are returned to your balance as points, not as money, in that same proportion, and they are available to spend straight away. Where a refund covers the postage as well as the goods, we treat the whole of it as goods when working the points out, which is always the answer in your favour. If you have already spent points we cannot recover, we write off the difference rather than leave you with a negative balance.
  6. Expiry. Your whole balance expires after 12 months with no activity — no order, no points earned and none spent. We will email you before that happens. Any order restarts the clock.
  7. Tiers. Tiers are worked out nightly from your spend on goods over the previous 12 months, net of refunds. An upgrade takes effect as soon as an order qualifies. You keep a tier for at least 12 months from the day you reached it.
  8. Referrals. 250 points to each side, once the invited person's first order of £25 or more has cleared its 14-day window, capped at ten credited referrals per member per rolling year. We will not credit a referral where the two accounts share a delivery address, a payment card or a browser, or where either account looks to have been created for the purpose. A referral that arrives after the year's tenth is not lost: it waits, and is credited as soon as the rolling year moves on.
  9. Abuse. We may withhold, void or reverse points, and close a Club membership, where we reasonably believe an account has been used to obtain points dishonestly — for example duplicate accounts, ordering and cancelling to farm points, or payment fraud. We will tell you why and you can reply to [email protected] if you think we have it wrong.
  10. Drops. Items bought through a draw win or tier early access do not earn points. This is said on the drop page before you buy.
  11. Pre-order price protection. If the price of something you pre-ordered falls before release, we refund the difference in points. You can ask for it in money instead.
  12. Changes and closing the scheme. We can change these terms, the earn rate, the tier thresholds or the perks by giving 30 days' notice by email and on this page, and that notice period also applies if we ever close the scheme. Points you have already earned keep the value they had when you earned them for those 30 days, so you have time to spend them. We will not make a change that takes away points you have already earned.
  13. Closing your account. If you close your account your points go with it. Spend them first.
  14. Who we are. Seriously Rare is the trading name of Nic Sunde, sole trader, Suite 151, Unit 7 Ladywood Works, Lutterworth LE17 4QN. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
