Reviews
We don't host reviews on this site. Independent reviews of Seriously Rare are on Trustpilot, where we can't edit, hide or reorder them.
How reviews are collected
After an order is dispatched, Trustpilot sends every customer the same review invitation on our behalf, seven days later. Everyone gets it, or nobody does: we never pick who to ask based on how the order went, and we never ask only the customers we think were happy. The invitation comes from Trustpilot, not from us, so every review it collects is marked as verified.
What we never do
- We don't pay, discount, give points or offer anything else for a review, and we don't treat a reviewer differently afterwards.
- We don't write, buy or commission reviews, and nobody connected with the shop reviews it.
- We don't ask for reviews to be removed because they're negative. We only report a review to Trustpilot where it's about a different business or breaks their rules.
- We don't quote reviews on this site selectively. If we ever show a Trustpilot score or widget here, it will be their live figure for all reviews, not a selection.
Replies
We reply to every review, good or bad, under our own name. If a review raises a problem we didn't know about, we'll put it right the same way we would if you'd emailed — see delivery & returns for what you're entitled to.
Why it's written down
The Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 makes fake reviews, and reviews paid for or incentivised without saying so, an automatically unfair practice in the UK; this page is our statement of how we stay on the right side of that, and the reason reviews live with Trustpilot rather than here.
