How are Pokémon cards packaged for posting?

Every card is penny-sleeved. Cards worth about £5 or more, and every Illustration Rare and above, get their own toploader or semi-rigid holder; cheaper cards are sleeved and packed in small stacks in a team bag between two toploaders so they cannot slip or bend. Nothing is ever loose, holos are never face to face, and everything gets adequate padding and a sturdy box. Slabs go wrapped into a bubble-lined box; sealed product goes boxed with padding on all sides.

Yes. Everything is sent Royal Mail Tracked and there is no untracked option. The dispatch email carries the Royal Mail reference.

What is the cut-off for same-day dispatch?

2pm Monday to Friday. Orders placed before then go out the same day; anything later, or at the weekend, goes out the next working day.

How we pack and post

Most of what goes wrong with cards in the post is avoidable, so every order is packed the same careful way, every time.

Singles

Cheaper cards are safely sleeved and packed in small stacks in a team bag between two toploaders so they can't slip or bend. Nothing is ever loose, and holos are never face to face. Everything gets adequate padding and a sturdy box.

Graded cards

Slabs are wrapped and go into a bubble-lined box with padding on all sides. The slab is never in direct contact with the outer box.

Sealed product

Booster boxes, ETBs and collections go into a box with padding on all sides, no gaps. Loose booster packs are sent flat, never folded or rolled. Shrink-wrap and seals stay as they came from the distributor; we do not open anything to "check".

Posting

Everything is sent Royal Mail Tracked. There is no untracked option, because we would rather pay the difference than argue with anyone about whether a parcel arrived. The dispatch email carries the Royal Mail reference.

Economy is Tracked 48, two to three working days, £3.99, free on orders over £50. Fast is Tracked 24, next working day, £5.99. Club members pay less at higher tiers: free Economy from a lower order value, Fast for £1 on those orders, and free Fast at the top tier. Orders placed before 2pm Monday to Friday go out the same day; anything later, or at the weekend, goes out the next working day. Royal Mail's times are estimates rather than guarantees.

If something goes wrong

A parcel is our responsibility until it reaches you. If it has not arrived within ten working days of dispatch, email [email protected] with your order number and we replace or refund. If it arrives damaged, send a photo of the packaging and the card the same day if you can, and we sort it; you deal with us, never with Royal Mail. Keep the packaging until it is settled.

Returns

Within 14 days of receiving an order you can return anything for any reason; the returns address is emailed when the return is arranged, and the Lutterworth postal address is not it. Full detail is on delivery and returns.
